Bridesmaid attire? You know anyone in your wedding party attire?
That that's this week's topic.
I'm Bettina I'm a wedding planner in South Florida and I provide free tips and tricks for wedding planning each week. So definitely check it out and follow us.
Let's start by addressing the process of deciding what color you'd like.
I have a lot of couples that usually come to me asking me "when should we start picking our wedding party colors?" or "when should we start picking colors for the wedding?"
Well, there's a whole process that goes behind it.
You can't really go off the bat into the picking of the wedding colors.
You first need your venue.
So I always recommend before telling your bridesmaids and groomsmen and your wedding party members to first pick your venue.
Once you pick your venue, then you can kind of figure out how many wedding party members you can actually have.
You're probably wondering like, what do you mean?
Well, if your ceremony is tight in space, especially if you want an arch or canopy, you might need a smaller amount of wedding party to be able to stand up there.
Or maybe you can have honorary wedding party to sit down, walk down the aisle and sit down and some standing up there.
So again, first secure your wedding venue, then think about how many wedding party members and then go into the wedding attire colors.
Your wedding colors and your bridesmaid and groomsmen attire colors will depend on your wedding venue. So that's why it's so important to book that first.
So if you're outdoor, definitely consider all the aspects of outdoor.
If you're by the beach, ask yourself "do you want to emulate like the water?"
Or do you want to make a bold statement with a bold color?
And wedding dresses too.
If you're looking for a wedding dress and you're on a beach, I suggest not that much tulle, because tulle picks up sand and all the things as well as critters on the beach and you don't want that.
This wedding season, I'm definitely seeing a lot more colors, a lot more variations of wedding party dresses, especially in varying colors.
Back in the day, we would do like the same shades of blue or purple or pink. Now we're incorporating really different colors and even different textures, which I'm really, really enjoying.
Let me know what you think in the comments.
